What's a Mutt March?

Everyone who has Mutts (or *other* dogs who have friends that are mutts) get together and go for a big ol walk!!! It's pretty laid back.... they have other dog related events, it's 12-4p at Alaskaland, costs $5 to register that day - - it helps support the shelter, animal control, and promotes pet adoption!!

They're allowed as long as they have mutt friends!! Emit is open to being everyone's mutt friend if there's a purebred that wants to go!

Kidding of course!!  All dogs are allowed... the purpose is to promote pet adoption & pet care!!

So - no lame excuses people!!  For one afternoon look at your dog as a friend and put that canine companion first!!  One day out of the year (4 hours actually) you can stop to appreciate your loyal pet that loves you unconditionally!  Take them on an open invitation play date, promote pet adoption, and support your local animal shelter!

I am in no way connected to or affiliated with the sponsors of the Mutt March.  This is all the information I have, obtained from a flyer I picked up at Alaska Feed Co. on College Rd.  For more information call the Animal Shelter or Animal Control.  Last year I found out about it only hours before the march started.  We just showed up, registered, and went on the march.  It's that easy!
